Joie de vivre mingled with Eastern-European sadness!!! Dragana´s songwriting is haunting and honest, her own joie de vivre mingling with an eastern-European sadness that she cannot deny. You won´t find a singer-songwriter with more candor – her debut is a wonderful album that is straight from the heart. And Dragana has one of those pure voices capable of portraying these myriad emotions.

The sadness of Dragana´s songs is not only the woe of "girl losing boy" – but also larger issues such as autumnal reflections on misunderstandings, and the small shifts that lead people apart or the unexpected epiphanies that make you aware that you don´t know yourself, much less others or the world around you...

Dragana has a smoky, torch song voice and a kinship with the piano, playing drifting, moonlit notes. Her songs are adult contemporary pop ballads with jazz influences. It´s perfect music for an evening spent slow dancing on a roof overlooking Manhattan...
